Two of our favorite events united together for a weekend of fun and celebration! It's been a crazy 12+ months and we have been patiently waiting for the time to come when we can host our events in their usual splendor. This year, Art on the Lake and Apple Day are joining forces to make the most unforgettable weekend of 2021!
Excelsior Art on the Lake celebrates its 40th year in 2021! Excelsior Art on the Lake is a high profile event and enjoys a loyal following of 18,000+ art admirers, collectors and buyers. Over 140 artists will be displaying original works amidst live music and a variety of food offerings.
Excelsior Apple Days is coveted lakeside festival celebrating community, art, locally produced food, and a good old-fashioned street dance. Since 1935, beloved fans of Apple Day have been enjoying a day full of events - craft booths, the Happy Apple Kids Corner, food vendors, history tour, Apple Pie contests, live entertainment - from local groups to well-known bands on the big stage, and the popular beer and wine garden located in the middle of it all!
Together, they create an amazing weekend filled with food, fun, and community!
LOCATION: Water Street between 3rd & Water Street in Excelsior, Minnesota

AMENITIES: Complimentary coffee and pastries each morning at Chamber Headquarter Tent Booth sitters – display pink flag in front of booth to alert need for sitter Free shuttle service between Excelsior Elementary and 2nd and Water Street Overnight police security Load-in/out Boy Scout assistance will be available - more information to follow!
PROMOTIONAL BENEFITS: Artisan name and booth number listed in the 2021 Art & Apples on the Lake program and website. Exhibitors are provided marketing support in local print media, Facebook, Instagram and Art on the Lake website. Email blast to distribution list of 5,000+ residents and shoppers in the regional area – throughout the upper Midwest.
BOOTH DETAILS: Single Booth Fee (10' X 10'): $300 Double Booth Fee (20' X 10'): $550 Corner Fee (Additional): $75 (limited availability)
CHECK IN PROCEDURE: Before going to Water Street at your assigned check in time (the time you will be assigned in your artist packet), you MUST check in with the volunteer at the Excelsior Elementary school parking lot entrance (see map inset); you will park here and receive a ticket to load in. A Picture I.D. is required at artist check in, and must be presented upon the request of Rules Committee members or staff at any time during the fair. You will drive to the East or West lots and continue toward Water Street until you are directed by another volunteer to park and begin unloading. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated - this will help alleviate traffic congestion in downtown Excelsior.
TENT INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS: Tents must be assembled and securely anchored by 7:00 a.m. Saturday for Fire Marshall inspection. For tent requirement information, click on Tent Code Enforcement
You are responsible for any fines incurred if not compliant. If your tent does not pass inspection, you will need to do what is necessary to be compliant, or else you will be asked to pack up and depart.
STORAGE SPACE: There is approximately a two foot allowance behind your booth to allow for storage of packing box
