The City of Cambridge is beginning a process to renovate the public outdoor play areas at 359 Broadway, the former Longfellow School in Mid-Cambridge.
The site includes a central court, sunken from the Broadway sidewalk, fenced side play areas, and outdoor space that serves school programs, youth programs, childcare groups, nearby neighbors, and the broader community outside of program hours.
We would like to hear how you use the space today, what is working well, what could be improved, and what kinds of programming, play, gathering, art, planting, and outdoor learning opportunities you would like to see in the future.
Your feedback will help guide the next phase of design. The community engagement phase will continue throughout the summer.
