Purpose of the Study
You are invited to participate in a voluntary survey to inform Michigan’s second five‑year Statewide Housing Plan. The survey asks about housing experiences, challenges, and priorities across the state. Your responses will help inform statewide housing planning and policy development.
Eligibility
To participate, you must be 18 years or older and currently live in Michigan.
Voluntary Participation
Your participation is completely voluntary. You may skip any question or stop the survey at any time without penalty or loss of benefits. Apart from the required eligibility questions, there are a few questions with response requirements, marked with an asterisk (*). If you do not wish to answer one of these, simply select "Prefer not to say".
Risks and Discomforts
Some questions ask about housing instability or financial stress. These questions may feel uncomfortable. You may skip any question you do not wish to answer.
Benefits
There is no direct benefit to you. Your participation will help ensure that Michigan’s housing policies reflect resident experiences and priorities.
Confidentiality
Your responses will be kept confidential to the extent permitted by law. Results will be reported only in summary form. No identifying information will be included in reports.
