34th Avenue Open Street - Capital Design Vision Survey

The NYC Department of Transportation has a funding commitment for the capital design and construction of 34 Avenue between 69 Street and 96 Street in Jackson Heights, Queens. The capital project seeks to build the first permanent Open Street in the city and will prioritize pedestrians, increase public space, simplify corridor operations and add landscaping along the corridor. This project builds on the success of the existing Street Improvement Project (SIP) design implemented between 2022 and 2025.
