Background Information

In 2017, the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) received state (Connecticut DEMHS) and federal (FEMA) approval of the Multi-Campus Hazard Mitigation Plan that was prepared for all 17 campuses and the System Office to help reduce the risk of natural hazards and minimize vulnerabilities from identified hazards.

On an annual basis, the Multi-Campus Hazard Mitigation Planning Steering Committee must review the Multi-Campus Hazard Mitigation Plan (system office and each individual campus chapter), inform the public about the annual review of the plan and post this information publicly. The purpose of this survey is to ask for your input regarding any hazards that have impacted your campus or vulnerabilities you are aware of.
