As 2025 comes to a close, we want to hear from you! Tell us something you did this year to help make Hamilton more Age-Friendly - a welcoming and supportive place for older adults. Your efforts matter, and your example can inspire others across our community.

What counts as Age-Friendly?
ANYTHING that makes your space, service, or program easier, safer, or more comfortable for seniors! Some examples:
  • adding a chair or seating area
  • using larger-print signs
  • improving lighting or pathways
  • offering help at the door
  • offering delivery or house calls
  • creating programs or activities that welcome older adults
  • building or upgrading a senior-friendly space
  • making policy or service changes that support older adults
Why share your story?
Your story will be included in our 2025 Age-Friendly Hamilton Community Progress Report and helps highlight the great work happening across Hamilton.
