About this research

My name is Bindi Bennett and I work in the School of Social Work at the University of the Sunshine Coast. I am doing this research in partnership with Professor Sue Green from the Charles Sturt University and Professor Gawaian Bodkin-Andrews from the University of Technology Sydney. This research undertaken in consultation with Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) a national, member based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander allied health organisation as community partners.

This research is to find out about views on what makes culturally safe and responsive practice with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as well how social workers understand and could implement the IAHA cultural responsive framework in their practice. It is also interested in how practitioners currently measure and evaluate their cultural responsiveness in practice.

IF I SAY YES, WHAT WILL IT INVOLVE?

If you wish to take part in this research, you will be participating in an online survey (roughly 30 mins to complete).
