Audience: Alameda County Behavioral Health staff, and it’s contracted community-based organization (CBO) providers; Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychiatrists, mental health Interns, Post Doc Residents, Physicians, Nurses, Dietitians.
Description:
I. Participants will be able to identify 2 ways they can advocate for change and promote social justice amongst clients that struggle with eating to support successful outcomes.
II. Participants will be able to safely and compassionately move through their discomfort when discussing social justice with clients and their team.
