Water Play Parks in Elderslie and Oran Park |
Council has allocated funds to develop two water play parks. One is proposed at Curry Reserve in Elderslie and one at the Town Park, Oran Park.
- Curry Reserve is a relatively level site with existing picnic, playground, public toilet and parking facilities. It is one of Camden's most recognisable and popular parks.
- A water feature is proposed for the Town Park at Oran Park. This is being designed and constructed under a voluntary planning agreement with Greenfields Development Company and Urban Growth NSW. Council will provide additional funding to deliver a water play park that will deliver a distinct recreational place for the Camden Community.
Council is seeking your feedback on the proposed water play parks by Tuesday 13 June as these will be the first water play facilities in public parks in Camden.
Council’s Vision for the water play parks is:
To create a rich memorable safe water play area and discovery experience for both adults and children with water management systems that minimise costs and are eco-friendly.
