Completing your online application form
Please note, before you start filling in the application form, if you want to save the progress of your application form and return back to complete it, you must not delete your history or cache. Once you return you can revisit the saved URL and your work should be saved. If you do delete your history or cache, your work will be deleted and you must start again. In any case, we strongly encourage you to read through the form and see what information and attachments you need to provide before you start.
 
Reimbursement details
As a Secondary or Area School Principal Sabbatical recipient you are entitled to a reimbursement of costs clearly associated with your sabbatical. The costings must have been advised in your application and you will only be able to claim the amount provisionally approved by the panel, up to a maximum of $5,000 (if there are any amendments or changes to your costings please contact us to explain). You must evidence the actual and reasonable costs incurred. 

Any reimbursement will be paid out in two payments (Area Principals Only): 
-90% will be paid upon receiving relevant documentation evidencing costs, directly associated with the proposal of the work of the sabbatical taken, incurred by the principal
-10% will be pain upon TeachNZ receiving your completed sabbatical report 

Any reimbursement will be paid out in one payment (Secondary Principals Only): 
-100% will be paid upon receiving relevant documentation evidencing costs, directly associated with the proposal of the work of the sabbatical taken, incurred by the principal

Please ensure that all receipts clearly show the items, prices and dates paid.

You should receive payment within four to six weeks of TeachNZ receiving your complete application.
