The Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) and the Coding Taskforce are pleased to announce its first Coding Fellowship geared towards Fellows-in Training and junior Full Members. The fellowship will allow for one member to spend two years working on and collaborating with the Coding Taskforce. 
 
The estimated time commitment for a coding fellow is five to ten hours a month for project and activities and five to six days a year away from practice to attend the following meetings:

- One (1) ACOG Committee on Health Economics and Coding (CHEC) meeting in July or December.
- CPT editorial and American Medical Association (AMA) RVS Update Committee (RUC) meetings as needed.
- The SGO Coding Course at the SGO Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer and assist with course preparation and presentations.
- SGO Coding Webinars and assist with webinar preparation and presentation.


The Coding Fellowship recipient will be selected in December 2020 and will receive a complementary registration to attend the SGO Coding Course in 2021.
