3.
Why do you choose to buy online rather than in store? (select all that apply)
Wider range of designs and prints
I prefer to support Australian small businesses rather than large retailers
Convenience of shopping in my own home in my own time
I can compare prices easily
I like to browse and buy from a range of places rather than just one store
Other (please specify)
4.
What are some issues that made purchasing more difficult or stopped you from completing the purchase altogether? (select all that apply)
I can’t find what I’m looking for easily because the search/filter functions are hard to use/aren’t comprehensive enough
I don't like having to go to multiple places/websites to find unique designs/prints
Have to pay multiple shipping fees if I purchase from multiple places
It is hard to compare prices when I have to visit multiple stores
It takes time to read and understand the language some online fabric stores use to advertise their products (eg.pre-order cutoffs, print scale, fabric bases)
It is not always clear when I can expect to receive pre-order fabric (I have to go searching for their printing turnaround times and calculate it myself
I don’t like it when stores aren’t transparent with their business practices or correctly acknowledge artists
I find the inconsistency of fabric quantities between fabric stores annoying (eg.one store shows price per 0.25m, another store shows price per 1m)
