Introduction
A large-scale European survey on how AI is impacting the work in the Media, Arts & Entertainment sector is currently underway. As part of that survey, the Danish Union of Journalists Dansk Journalistforbund and the Portuguese Union of Journalists Sindicato dos Jornalistas are reaching out to the professional journalists in their respective memberships to find out how AI is affecting their work and where the opportunities and threats lie. Journalists' unions want to support journalists in the best way - your input can really help us to do that.
This survey is being carried out in the framework of a wider piece of research into this topic by the European Trade Unions in the Media, Arts and Entertainment sector, with the financial support of the European Commission. Results will be published and shared by Dansk Forbund and Sindicato dos Jornalistas early in 2026.
