Connecting creative youth to career paths in the Pioneer Valley

Holyoke Media, Shelburne Falls’ Piti Theatre Company and Big Brother Big Sister of Franklin County have received a planning grant from the Community Foundation of Western MA to develop an exciting initiative called Valley Arts Mentors (VAM).

VAM is a network of arts organizations in the Pioneer Valley committed to leveraging the arts to empower youth through mentorship. VAM will also serve “non-arts” businesses and organizations by facilitating connections with employers who are seeking employees and interns who are:
-       creative
-       entrepreneurial
-       team-oriented
-       have experience guiding complex projects to completion
-       have high degrees of emotional intelligence.

Ultimately these connections will help to make the Pioneer Valley a more likely place for young adults to call home. In order for VAM to position itself most effectively to serve non-arts organizations (we are calling this group “VAM PLUS”) would you take 4 minutes to fill out the survey below?
