Over the next two or three years the City will be embarking on a State-mandated periodic update of its 20-year Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is the guiding document cities in Washington maintain in order to determine preferred priorities, goals, and policies to achieve successful community development for the City. The plan addresses topics including, but not limited to, how it provides services to the public, what types of residential homes can be built, where sidewalks are planned, and how solid waste is managed.
One of the first steps in this process is developing a "Vision Statement" for the updated Plan. This is a general yet thematic statement that will describe the future conditions and qualities of the City that is based on shared values and priorities of the community. This short, voluntary survey is designed to solicit input from residents of Clyde Hill for the purpose of creating this Statement.
