The objectives for this session were:
1. Discuss background and clinical presentation of Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM) in post-menopausal women.
2. Provide overview of NAMS clinical care recommendations for GSM.
3. *Review current American Congress of Obstetrician/Gynecologist (ACOG) guidelines for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) during menopause.
4. Explore pelvic floor physical therapy (PFPT) expert collaboration as treatment option for GSM.
5. Utilize case study discussion of GSM scenario(s) with APRNs and PFPT in clinical practice.
All of the identified objectives were met satisfactorily.(Required.)
