Domestic Violence and Homelessness Technical Assistance Initiative
The National Center on Family Homelessness is conducting a brief survey of providers working with families experiencing domestic violence and homelessness. The goal of this survey is to better understand the needs of the service providers in order to develop and disseminate a toolkit to help train those in the field. The goal of this project is to equip providers with practical knowledge of homelessness and its intersection with domestic violence, helping to improve integration of the two service systems. The toolkit will be disseminated nationwide and the National Center on Family Homelessness will conduct two one hour webcasts to provide training and review the toolkit. Continuing education credits will be made available for social workers wishing to attain professional development credit.
The survey is also designed to get a sense of what gaps exist in services for families experiencing BOTH homelessness and domestic violence. Please answer all questions as completely as possible.
