Welcome to the registration for the 2023 Cohort of the "Rights, Equity, and Health: Screening and Documenting Unmet Legal Needs that Impact the Health of Agricultural Workers and LGBTQIA+ People'' learning collaborative, co-hosted by the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center, National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership, and Farmworker Justice.  

In this 4-session learning collaborative, health center staff will develop strategies for screening and documenting unmet legal needs that may affect the health outcomes of patients in two specific groups: agricultural workers and LGBTQIA+ people. Health center participants will collaborate with peers and expert facilitators to share and implement best practices for screening (e.g., SOGI data collection), identifying, and referring patients to civil legal services providers for assistance with health-related legal needs.

Program Description:
  • Health center representatives will participate in 4 sessions on Thursdays during the month of March 2023.
  • We'll meet on March 9th, 16th, 23, and 30th from 2-3:30pm (EST), 1-2:30pm (CST), 11-12:30pm (PST).
  • Ongoing technical assistance will be available to participating health centers during their participation in the program.
  • Participants will collaborate with peers and with expert facilitators to identify and implement best practices in care.
  • The Learning Collaborative is open to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), FQHC look-alikes, Primary Care Associations (PCAs), and Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs)
