तपाईलाई यो अनुसन्धान सर्वेमा भाग लिनका लागि आग्रह गरिएको छ।

यो सर्वे कोभिड १९ र संयुक्त राज्यमा अमेरिकामा  शरणार्थी जीवनको अनुभव गर्नु भएका भूटानीहरु बीच सामाजिक दूरीको व्यवहारका बारेमा बुझ्न आयोजित गरीएको हो। हामी मानसिक स्वास्थ्य र सामाजिक दूरी बारेको सोचले कोभिड-१९ रोकथाम व्यवहारलाई कसरी प्रभाव पार्दछ भनेर जान्न इच्छुक छौ।

तपाई हाल अमेरिकामा बस्दै गर्नु भएको छ र १८ बर्ष भन्दा माथिको भूटानी भएकाले तपाईलाई यो सर्वे भर्न आग्रह गरिएको हो। यसमा तपाईको सहभागिता स्वैच्छिक हुने छ र तपाईले कुनै पनि प्रश्नको उत्तर नदिन वा कुनै पनि कारणले कुनै पनि समयमा आफ्नो सहभागितालाई फिर्ता लिन वा अस्वीकार गर्न सक्नुहुनेछ। यदि यस अध्ययनमा भाग लिन सहमत हुनुहुन्छ भने तपाईलाई छोटो अनलाइन सर्वे लिन आग्रह गरिनेछ। हामी तपाईलाई तपाईको उमेर, लिङ्ग, स्वास्थ्य, र तपाईको सामाजिक दूरी सम्बन्धि व्यवहारहरूको बारेमा केही प्रश्नहरू सोध्ने छौ। सर्वे पूरा गर्न १० मिनेट भन्दा कम समय लाग्नेछ।यस अध्ययनमा भाग लिदा सम्भावित जोखिमहरूका रुपना केही प्रश्नहरूका कारण चिन्ता र तनाव हुन सक्दछ। हामीले तपाईलाई पहिचान गर्ने खालका प्रश्नहरु नसोध्ने भएकाले तपाईको गोपनीयता गुमाउनु पर्ने न्यूनतम जोखिम दखिन्छ।
 
यस सर्वेमा भाग लिए वापत कुनै पनि प्रत्यक्ष फाइदा छैन तर तपाईले दिनु भएका जानकारीहरुलेअमेरिकामा बसोबास गर्ने भुटानीहरूको स्वास्थ्य र कल्याणको संरक्षण गर्न र यसले कोभिड १९ लाई रोकथाम गर्ने प्रयासलाई मद्दत गर्दछ।

Study Title: Health Communication, the Bhutanese Diaspora, and COVID-19

You are being asked to take part in a research survey.

This survey is being conducted to learn about COVID-19 and social distancing behavior among Bhutanese with a refugee life experience in the United States. We are interested in learning about how mental health and thoughts about social distancing influence COVID-19 prevention behavior.

You are being asked to participate in this survey because you are Bhutanese, over 18 years old, and are currently living in the United States. Your participation is voluntary and you may refuse to answer any question or withdraw your participation at any time for any reason.

If you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to take a short online survey. We will ask you a few questions about your age, gender, health, and your social distancing behaviors. The survey should take less than 10minutes to complete.

The possible risks of participating in this study include anxiety and stress caused by some of the questions. There is a minimal risk of loss of confidentiality since we do not ask questions that can be used to identify you.

There are no direct benefits to you if you take part in this survey, but the information you provide will be used to protect and promote the health and well-being of Bhutanese residing in the U.Sand inform COVID-19 prevent efforts in the community.

This research has been reviewed by the McGill University Institutional Review Board (IRB). If you wish to speak with someone not directly involved in this research study about your rights as a research subject, please contact McGill University Faculty of Medicine Institutional Review Board.   • If your questions, concerns, or complaints are not being answered by the research team.
