I wanted to attend thought-provoking lectures from Christian experts about fandoms I love I was thrilled by how the lecture topics were complex and intellectually rigorous this year I wanted to buy cool merch for fandoms I love I was excited to connect with a community of geeky Christians like me I have a lot of thoughts about geeky stuff, and was hoping to meet a community of Christians who are as excited as me to talk about it all I wanted to cosplay I wanted to learn about how Christians can faithfully approach entertainment I wanted to better understand Christian “geek culture” and how to connect with my brothers and sisters who are part of that culture I wanted to support Doxacon as a ministry for reaching out to Christian geeks I wanted to worship in Orthodox services with like-minded Christians I don’t totally understand what Doxacon is, but was intrigued enough to attend and check it out I was a speaker, vendor, exhibitor, or otherwise participated in the function of the event Other (please specify) OK Question Title * 5.
