Priorities for Victoria’s Next State Disability Plan 2027-2031

About this survey

Women with Disabilities Victoria (WDV) is getting ready to advise the Victorian Government about the next State Disability Plan (2027–2031).

This survey asks about your life, what is hard, what is working well, and what you want the Victorian Government to change for women and gender diverse people with disabilities.

Responses from this survey and other consultations will inform what is written in our final report to the government.

You do not need to know anything about the current State Disability Plan to fill in this survey.
  • This survey may take 15-20 minutes to complete.
  • You can skip any question.
  • You can stop at any time.
We value the voices of all our members - it is ok to have a support worker, friend or family member to help you fill out the survey.

A note on language

At WDV and in this survey, we use person‑first language, while also recognising and respecting that some people with disability choose to use identity‑first language. In this survey, we use the term ‘disability’ in a broad way that includes people with autism and people who are Deaf. We also recognise that members of Autistic and Deaf communities may not self‑identify as having a disability.

This survey is for people who:
  • Live in Victoria, and
  • Identify as a woman or gender diverse person, and
  • Identify as having a disability, Autism, or being Deaf
Your privacy

We will securely store all responses. Only WDV staff and Julie Kun, the consultant writing WDV’s report to the government, will have access to them.

Please do not include anyone's including your own, private or sensitive medical or personal information in your responses.
