Free Podiatry (Footcare) Screening and Education Project for People with Type 2 Diabetes

Diabetes Ireland is seeking people with Type 2 diabetes to take part in a diabetes footcare programme at its Care Centre in Santry, Dublin 9. Specifically, we are seeking people who reside in the HSE CHO 9 area of Dublin North, Dublin North Central, Dublin North West, Dublin North City and North County Dublin.

The project aims to deliver and evaluate an in-depth diabetes footcare programme to educate people with diabetes on how to care for their feet, understand the importance of doing so, how to recognise problems, know when to seek professional help and avoid the development of diabetes related foot problems/ ulceration.

A maximum of 50 participants will be chosen to participate in the project. If selected, you will be contacted by Diabetes Ireland by August 31st, 2021. If your details are not selected, your data will be deleted by August 31st, 2021.
