Recreational opportunities for Young People @ Aqualink to improve Health and Wellbeing
This survey is a collaboration between Councils Leisure Facilities (Aqualink Nunawading & Box Hill and Sportlink Vermont South), the Whitehorse Youth Representative Committee (WYRC) and Youth Services.
Its aim is to find out how we can make Councils Leisure Facilities more accessible and better utilised for young people aged 12 – 25 years in Whitehorse in a way that is best suited to them and their needs that makes them feel safe and supported.
In making programs and services more accessible we hope young people improve their general health and wellbeing specifically their mental health. We are looking at making more positive ways that young people can get involved in the various activities offered at Councils Leisure Facilities and increase their knowledge and connection to the local community and the supports that are there for them.
Identities are protected and all information will be confidential and only used by Council staff for the purpose stated.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey for us.
