2026 ISTSS Graduate Applicant Workshop and PI Networking Fair

Thank you for your interest in the 2026 ISTSS Graduate Applicant Workshop and PI Networking Fair! The Fair will be held on Friday, September 25, 2:15 – 3:45 PM

The Fair targets undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and other students interested in pursuing graduate studies (PhDs, PsyDs, etc.) in the traumatic stress field. This is one of our more recent ISTSS events, the purpose of which is to carve out a space for trainees to network and learn from trauma-focused researchers and where graduate PIs who might be taking on a graduate student can disseminate information about their program and research lab.

Kindly note that the fair is not designed for "preliminary interviews" with prospective applicants. Rather, this is a space for trainees to learn more about the potential options available to them, both in graduate school and beyond.

Please take a moment to complete a few questions about yourself, your lab/research interests, and your institution. Note that we will include this information in a brochure that is designed to help attendees navigate the event.

In addition to networking, we will also host a panel discussion during the Fair. Please indicate if you would like to be part of the panel, or if you prefer to participate in the networking portion only.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions to the ISTSS Student Section Chairs: Mariel Emrich (mariel.emrich@uconn.edu) or Kabelo Maloka (kabelo@sun.ac.za).
