The Spirit of Stanley Award is given annually by the Stanley BPS Alumni Association to a former or current Stanley educator or community member who embodies the principles of our mission to engage, challenge and inspire a love of learning in our students. Spirit of Stanley award winners are nominated based on their demonstrated commitment to British Primary philosophy and their indelible impact on our school, our alumni and our community.

The first Spirit of Stanley Award was presented to long-time faculty member, Betsy Lewis, in March 2017.  Lynne Forstot, alumni parent, former K-1-2 teacher, and current teacher residency program site coordinator received the 2nd Spirit of Stanley Award in March 2018.

As a member of the Stanley alumni community, we invite you to nominate someone for the 2019 Award whom you believe best represents the Spirit of Stanley. Upon consideration of all nominations received, the Alumni Steering Committee will select this year’s recipient. The 2019 Spirit of Stanley Award will be presented at STAN Talks 4 on the evening of February 7, 2019.

Please submit your responses by Friday, January 4, 2019.  Thank you!
