2017-2018 LDA of Michigan Slate of Officers

The LDA of Michigan Board of Directors has been working hard to gather and process the feedback of you, our members, related to continued need of our state organization. We heard you when you shared that our mission, purpose and vision is still needed to work for individuals with learning disabilities in Michigan!

We have renewed our commitment to participating on SEAC, Michigan's Special Education Advisory Committee. We have renewed our commitment to working with LDA's Healthy Children Project and raising awareness of environmental that can harm brain development. We have partnered with LDA of America to redesign our website to offer stronger resources for MI families and individuals and we have been working hard to recruit additional members and expertise for leadership on the LDA of MI Board of Directors.

You are receiving this announcement because you are a current LDA Member and eligible to vote for the 2017-2018 LDA of MI Board of Directors. We will not be having a physical annual meeting this fall (as we continue to rebuild), but we are asking for your participation in this online vote by Tuesday, December 13. We look forward to working together to continue to move forward in making Michigan a better home for individuals with learning disabilities!
