Configuration Options - Cougar and Warthog Combined
This page is for people with both HOTAS Cougar and Warthog setups.
1.
My preferred combination is:
Warthog Stick with Cougar TQS
Cougar Stick with Warthog Throttle
Warthog Stick and Throttle with Cougar TQS for specific occasions
Both HOTAS sticks and throttles in use in the same script (e.g. F-18 stick on one base).
Other (please specify)
2.
I have both the Cougar TQS and Warthog Throttle, and would use a Cougar TQS for the F-16 and JF-17.

I have both the Cougar TQS and Warthog Throttle, and would use both at the same time if the profile supported it.

If both Cougar and Warthog sticks are present, I prefer to have
Warthog Stick tied to profile with HOTAS Cougar free as a second stick (e.g. LANTIRN for F-14, TQS and gameport rudders as independent axes).
Cougar Stick tied to profile with Warthog Stick free as second stick.
Both sticks tied to profile to use hardware connected to the Cougar base (e.g. TQS, Gameport pedals).
Both sticks tied to profile and both used (e.g. one center-mounted and the other side-mounted).
