Compendium of research projects at the interface of tuberculosis and COVID-19

2.Concept Introduction

The World Health Organization Global TB Programme is collating information on ongoing research projects at the interface of TB and COVID-19*, with a view to support collaboration among researchers, as well as with policy makers.
In this context, WHO/GTB envisions developing a living compendium (listing) that will be updated periodically to make ongoing projects visible on its website.

*For the purpose of this document, "TB research at the interface of TB and COVID-19"  is defined as all scientific studies that are conducted as part of basic, translational, clinical, operational and epidemiological research that contribute to better understanding of TB disease in the context of COVID-19 pandemic, as well as those that lead to policy and practice improvements in the co-management of TB and COVID-19.
