The learning objectives for this session were:
1. Participants will gain knowledge of how agricultural economies and the natural landscape have shaped their communities' development.
2. Participants will leave with knowledge of how to identify their agricultural/local food system assets.
3. Participants will gain knowledge of how to engage and support their local agricultural assets through the Main Street program to support the rehabilitation of historic buildings and the revitalization of communities.
4. Participants will leave the session more knowledgeable about preservation, revitalization and the relationship of agriculture/industry to the development of the built environment of communities in the Pacific Northwest.
