Course Overview:
The IHS Pharmacy Last Wednesdays Webinar Series has been initiated to address the needs of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in I/T/U settings. Specifically, the series address five (5) areas: 1. Recent Evidence-Based Therapeutic Guidelines; 2. New Practices/Clinical Collaboration Models within IHS; 3. The Scope of Practice and Standards of Practice of IHS Pharmacy; 4. Ongoing Professional/Legal Changes in the Pharmacy Profession; and 5. Issues Confronting Institutional or Ambulatory Care Practice.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of completing this training, participants will be able to:
1. Translate the effects of the standardized serum creatinine assay on GFR and creatinine clearance estimating equations into relevant clinical practice
2. Manage patient outcomes by recommending therapeutic interventions based on evaluation and monitoring of kidney function
