An inclusive green economy (IGE) is an integral part of the emerging 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For example, Goal 8 calls for the promotion of “sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all”. Learning and skills development are key drivers of such an economic and societal transformation.

In order to scale up IGE learning through collaboration of interested institutions from around the world, the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) in collaboration with the Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training will organize the 1st Global Forum on Green Economy Learning on 16-18 December 2015 at the OECD Conference Center in Paris, France. The event will be held back to back with OECD’s Green Growth and Sustainable Development Forum.

The present survey has two purposes:
1. Map existing green economy learning activities and materials and explore opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
2. Identify professionals and institutions that are interested in participating in the Green Economy Learning Forum.

The deadline for filling out the survey was 31 October 2015. Invitations to the Forum and fellowship confirmations will be sent out to respondents of the survey by 6 November 2015.

A few additional slots might be available for self-sponsored participants. In case of interest or for any other inquiries please write to page@unitar.org.
