About IPA Annual Meeting
IPA's Annual Meeting is a two-day event, and the largest gathering of the year for IPA members.
Topic Categories
IPA is seeking educational sessions which fall into these broad categories or other educational categories relevant to pharmacy:
Clinical or Practice Based
Public Health
Professional Development
What makes a good proposal?
A good proposal is:

  • complete
  • well-written
  • explained clearly enough to allow an accurate assessment of the proposed session.
Sessions are generally 60 minutes long with 1 speaker per session. Exceptions to length or number of speakers, including use of panel formats, will be permitted if a strong rationale exists.

Finally, make sure your proposal includes:

1. A well-detailed session description
2. A detailed description of the knowledge or practice gap this session will address (ex. new legislation, new guidelines, research or changes in practice)
3. ACPE-compliant learning objectives which are clear and measurable. Generally, plan for 3-5 learning objectives per hour of CPE.  Include objectives for technicians if the presentation is relevant to technicians.

Note: Descriptions and education gap may be used for marketing purposes should the session be approved.

Time-saving Tip:
Organize your content ahead of time and then input it into the form all at once.

Evaluation of Proposals:
Proposals will be evaluated by the Education Council
Speaker selections will be made by June 30, 2022
