The City of Federal Way would like to hear from residents, service providers, business owners, and other interested parties on the housing, community and economic development needs, and resources of the community. This feedback will be used to help the City structure its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for the next five years. The primary objectives of CDBG are to provide decent housing, provide a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities, primarily for low- and moderate-income persons and neighborhoods. The following survey will only take a few minutes to complete.

The Community Needs Assessment Survey lists CDBG eligible programs and projects and asks respondents to rank each one on the basis of its perceived need in the community. The priority ranking of High, Medium, Low, and No Need is intended to determine the areas of highest need and the projects and programs in which the City should focus its efforts and funding.

The City of Federal Way appreciates your interest and participation. For further information, contact Sarah Bridgeford at sarah.bridgeford@cityoffederalway.com or 253-835-2651.
