Inclusivity in Obstetric Care

Learning Objectives:

After attending this session, participants will be able to:
  1. Discuss terminology and definitions relevant to LGBTQIA+ health.
  2. Appreciate some of the ways LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities experience marginalization in healthcare settings
  3. Recognize the unique considerations for TGD people in the obstetric anesthesia context.
  4. Propose simple solutions to mitigate these disparities and inequities within their own practice settings.
