The Deacon Ministry at Forest Hills is an essential part of the church’s pastoral work. It consists of spirit-filled men called to demonstrate God's love by praying, serving, and encouraging everyone to become more like Jesus Christ in unity and peace.
To become a deacon at Forest Hills, a man must meet the Biblical qualifications outlined in Acts 6 and 1 Timothy 3. He must have been a church member for at least one year, be at least 25 years old by January 1 of the year prior to his election, and have been a believer for at least five years. He also needs to be a faithful tither, showing his dedication to the church and its mission.
This year, the following men have been nominated to serve as deacons:
- Troy Brewer
- Jim Cecchin
- Keith Gardner
- Earle Graham
- Dale Harned

- Guy Patterson
