We are pleased to invite you to the Youth Research Symposium on Monday, 16 November 2026 at 5:30 pm at Valletta Campus.
The event is being organised by the European Union Programmes Agency (EUPA), responsible for managing Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, together with the University of Malta’s Department of Youth, Community and Migration Studies.
The symposium will bring together decision makers, academics, researchers, youth workers and leaders, and representatives of youth organisations and groups to explore how research can inform youth work and policy. It will showcase research from graduates of the University of Malta’s Department of Youth, Community and Migration Studies, the RAY Network, and the Council of Europe, creating space to share findings and discuss their relevance to practice and policy.
Held ahead of RAY DAY celebrated on 25 November 2026, the symposium highlights the value of research in the youth field. RAY is a European research network that studies international youth work and learning mobility, promotes dialogue between research, policy and practice, and supports evidence-based youth policy.
We hope you will join us to exchange perspectives, make connections and contribute to the conversation.
