Committee Overview

The Guidelines and Strategic Documents Committee (GSDC) is charged with overseeing the development and endorsement of clinical and strategic documents relevant to the needs of audiologists. In implementing document development processes and procedures that support transparent and trustworthy guidelines, the Academy is able to ensure guidance supports Members is providing optimal patient care.

The GSDC would like to actively incorporate the participation of the Student Academy of Audiology Members into the development of clinical documents. Two SAA Members will be selected to serve a three year term on the committee, that would follow you as you transition from student to early career professional. Student voices are critical, and this would be a tangible way to incorporate that feedback into real time practice.
