Programs covered under this visionary area include Environmental Services, Conservation, Trust Resources, Community Development and Menominee Tribal Enterprises; these departments are responsible for and committed to protection of our natural resources.
1.Are you familiar with the term sustained yield and what it means for you as a tribal member?
2.Are you currently satisfied with the current management of natural resources within the Menominee reservation?
3.How often do you or members of your household access the Menominee Forest for non-commercial traditional uses?
4.Would you support the need for increased funding to adequately address fire protection on the reservation?
5.Do you support the need for an updated Land Use Plan?
6.Are you aware of a new potential external environmental threat by Greenlight Wisconsin LLC near the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest?
7.Would you like to become involved as a volunteer or supporter of environmental justice protections?
