Coaching at the Intersection of Complexity and HI Introduction Dear 3CP Alumni and Friends of The Columbia Coaching Certification Program. This survey continues the exploration of the theme from the 5th International Columbia Coaching Conference: High-Impact Coaching in the Era of Hybrid Intelligence in October 2025 (https://www.columbiacoachingconference.org/event-details/high-impact-coaching-in-an-era-of-hybrid-intelligence).As we navigate an era of unprecedented complexity, the integration of human and artificial intelligence (i.e., Hybrid Intelligence)—is fundamentally reshaping the field of professional coaching. I am currently preparing my keynote for the 2026 Organization Coaching Certificate Symposium at the University of Georgia. The theme, "Coaching in Complexity: Navigating Change with Purpose and Presence," offers a timely opportunity to continue our exploration of how we, as practitioners, maintain our uniquely human value while leveraging emerging technologies. To ground my talk in real-world practice, I am seeking your insights. Your experience is vital to understanding how coaching serves as the developmental bridge between technological capability and human wisdom.Call-to-Action: Please take 6 to 10 minutes share your perspectives via the 10 question survey. What we hope to learn from you: How AI tools are currently influencing your relational presence and trust with clients. The ways coaching helps leaders make sense of complex, AI-augmented decision ecosystems. How leadership identity and ethics are shifting as organizations undergo digital transformation. The findings from this survey will be featured during my keynote on April 9, 2026, helping to illuminate the current "research gaps" and opportunities for our community. I will also create a “think piece” to post on LinkedIn after the conference. Thank you for your continued commitment to the field and for helping us shape this important dialogue. Please complete this survey by Thursday, April 30th.Warmly,Dr. Terrence E. Maltbia Professor of Practice | Faculty Director, 3CP Teachers College, Columbia University Next
