The thesis aims to identify opportunities in the mass emergency communication system for communities to stay safe during disasters in British Columbia. The research has been approved by "Emily Carr University's Research Ethics Board (REB)" to ensure all data is ethically collected and stored safely by the researcher. The results collected will be confidential and anonymous and not be shared with any third party.
