Oweninny Wind Farm Phase 2 Text Messaging System

To keep you informed of all relevant construction updates in relation to the Construction of Oweninny Wind Farm Phase 2, Oweninny Wind Farm Phase 2, are providing residents the option to join a text message update service which will keep you informed of key activities (e.g. road works, turbine deliveries etc.) during the construction phase of the project.

If you wish to participate in this free text message service, please provide your mobile phone number below. Please note you can Opt-Out of the service at any time by emailing: info@oweninnywindfarm.ie. 

For the purposes of data protection, please note that the only personal data that we hold will be your mobile phone number. Your phone number will be stored in a secure encrypted database on our servers for the duration of the Oweninny Wind Farm Phase 2 project (or until you opt out of the service). Your phone number will only be used to send you text messages with relevant project updates for the Oweninny Wind Farm Phase 2.

If you decide to opt out at any time, your phone number will be securely deleted from our systems and you will no longer be contacted. Otherwise, your phone number will be deleted from our systems on completion of the Oweninny Wind Farm Phase 2 project. 

Your phone number will also be shared with the authorised third-party telephone service provider we have engaged with to send the text messages. They are subject to relevant data protection legislation which includes the requirement to protect any personal data they hold for the purposes of providing the service. 

By submitting your mobile phone number to us, you are consenting to allow us to use your information for the above purpose.
