Teaming Rules 2.0

In 2016, we launched a research project looking at strategic teaming from prime and subconsultant perspectives. We presented findings and, through live audience participation, wrote the rules for better teaming.

Five years later, we are taking another look to see how teaming has changed considering today’s challenges, including talent shortage, pandemic, and social and market uncertainty.

The overarching objective remains the same: to discover what people value in teaming relationships and develop “rules” that can be adapted to each unique teaming opportunity. These survey questions are intended to get you thinking about all aspects of teaming, as well as different types of teams.

The survey takes about 30 minutes to complete and will set the stage for meaningful conversations at SMPS regional conferences and other A/E/C industry events in the coming months.
