  • We need your input on transportation needs and priorities in the region over the next 25 years.
  • Your participation will help to shape the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) - a public document that guides transportation decisions and funding.
  • This survey should take 15 minutes or less.

Strafford Regional Planning Commission serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the region. An MPO is created by federal law to involve local officials in the planning and implementation of federal transportation funds to metropolitan areas with populations of greater than 50,000.

The MTP is the comprehensive transportation plan for our region. The goal of our MTP is to review existing transportation infrastructure, goals, and strategies to look at where the region will be in the year 2045 and use that information to program projects and funds to best meet the needs of our region.

We want to hear from the everyday users of the transportation system to understand what is important to you. What’s working, what isn’t working, and where is there room for improvement?

Please take this short survey and help us identify the areas we should focus our efforts on to ensure that the region's transportation system continues to improve and serve its citizens. Thank you!
