CYDA / WWDA Disability Royal Commission Youth Engagement

Experiences of girls, young women, feminine-identifying and non-binary youth with disability.

Introduction

Please only complete this survey if you are between 15 and 30 years of age.

Women with Disabilities Australia (WWDA) and Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) have created this survey because we want to hear your stories, experiences and ideas, and share them with the Disability Royal Commission (DRC) to let them know what you think could be done better for girls, young women, feminine-identifying and non-binary young people with disability!

The DRC is a way that we can look into specific and important issues. It is a platform for you to share your experiences, challenges, thoughts, ideas and hopes for the future. The DRC is not a legal proceeding or a court, and it is independent of the justice system and the Australian Government.

WWDA and CYDA  will use the information you give us in this survey to write a report to share with the DRC. None of your personal information will be shared. The DRC will use the important information and suggestions you provide to make recommendations to the Australian Government about what needs to be done better, so that we can create the future we want - together!
