INSTRUCTIONS:  For each category, use the comment box to name a COTC member or members ( you can name more than one person) you think deserves to win.  Yes, you can vote for COTC board members too.  Not sure if someone is a COTC member?  Nominate them anyway.  We'll figure it out. Remember, this is for kicks and giggles.  So have fun with it!  We will announce the winners and give them their medals and certificates at our social on October 25th.  We'll close down the survey at 11:59 pm on OCtober 20th, so get your nominations in before then!

And don't forget to join us for the Fall Celebration October 25th @ 6:30pm at King Avenue 5!

Question Title

* 1. Best “Voluncheerer.” When you think of someone who volunteers and cheers, often, loudly, and proudly, who do you think of? Name a COTC member who fits this bill. (This may result in a tie; we understand.)

Question Title

* 2. Unsung Hero. This one may be tough, given the nature of the award, but we’re looking for a COTC member who flies under the radar and without seeking a ton of attention, but who makes great things happen or helps make you great. We want to recognize that person.

Question Title

* 3. Best Outfit (race, spectator, or volunteer). Do we really need to explain? Photo evidence is appreciated.

Question Title

* 4. Rotten, Stinkin’ Luck. Know a COTC member who’s just had rotten luck at races this year through no fault of his or her own? This includes everything from travel woes to race FUBARs, race leg cancellations, going the wrong way on course, mechanical failures, wardrobe malfunctions, you name it.

Question Title

* 5. “I Will Not Be Denied." This is for the COTC member who might have had a bad experience, DNF’d, DNS’d, whatever, but got right back on the proverbial horse (or bike; let’s not mix metaphors too much) and successfully completed another big event shortly after the bad one.

Question Title

* 6. "Don’t Call it a Comeback." This may seem like the “I Will Not Be Denied” Award, but it’s different. This is for a COTC member who had a really bad setback – major injury, illness, family tragedy, or other real-life obstacles, and has overcome whatever it was to do a significant race again during the past few years.

Question Title

* 7. Holy $hi!, You Did What? (aka Epic Race). Sure, a 140.6 mile Ironman is impressive and all, but do you know a COTC member who did something even more epic?  Give them a shout out.

Question Title

* 8. Rookie of the Year. Know a COTC member who strated doing tris this year and totally kicked butt, in whatever way you measure “kicking butt,” which can simply be finishing a race, or can be crushing a race?

Question Title

* 9. Most Likely to Need a Strava Intervention. This is for "that guy" or "that gal."  You know, the triathlete who literally believes that, if it’s not on Strava, it didn’t happen, stalks other Strava users, and even posts rest days on Strava? Now’s your chance to call them out, er, reward their bad behavior, er, never mind. Just give us a name. We'll deal with them appropriately.

Question Title

* 10. Have someone you'd like to nominate for an award we haven't listed?  We know there are tons of athletes doing awesome things all the time and we are sure we miss most of them. Let us know who we missed here.
