WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM 2019 OUTLINE

The week will allow students to explore all facets of Sydney Theatre Company from production to administration, directing, playwriting, set and costume design to marketing, philanthropy and sponsorship. The through-line for the week is Tom Stoppard’s The Real Thing, which is being performed at the Drama Theatre, Sydney Opera House during Work Experience Week. 

Across the course of the week students will participate in tours, panels, workshops and activities run by STC staff and creatives. The week will culminate in a group presentation on Friday in which students will pitch their concept ideas for a production of the play.

Please answer the Regional Scholarship question (Section 4) if you are eligible. To be eligible for the scholarship, you need to live at least 2 hours or 200 kms from Sydney. 

DATES: Monday 7th of October – Friday 11th of October 2019. 9:00am – 4:00pm

* 4. REGIONAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Sydney Theatre Company is offering a regional scholarship  for the Work Experience week in October, 2019. Please answer the following question if you would like to be considered for the 2019 Work Experience regional scholarship.

To be eligible for the scholarship, you need to live at least 2 hours or 200 kms from Sydney. The scholarship of $1500 covers the cost of travel to and accommodation in Sydney for you and your parent/carer.
