Just Start Academy Application Survey

Facilitated by UF Innovate | Accelerate using Wendy Kennedy Institute

The Just Start Academy is for people who have a business idea but are not yet sure whether they want to turn it into a company. If you have already incorporated a company, this program is not for you.

This free program, facilitated by UF Innovate | Accelerate, uses online curriculum from the WKI to help participants evaluate their idea, explore the market, and make a clear go / no-go decision about whether to move forward.

Upon joining the program, participants will have nine months to complete all required WKI online modules and program activities. At the end of the nine-month period, participants agree to notify UF Innovate | Accelerate whether they plan to turn their idea into a business, continue evaluating the idea, change direction, or not move forward.

The program is offered at no cost to accepted participants. However, participants who abandon the program or fail to complete the required modules within the nine-month completion period agree to pay a $100 non-completion fee.
