It is a requirement of receiving EDI support and funding from BWSW that there are experienced and qualified staff in place at the club/centre that have up to date and appropriate qualifications.

In the case of the CWO this means; BWSW membership, safeguarding course completed within the last 3 years and DBS check within the last 3 years.

In the case of the coach/instructor this means that her/his licence status is active. The active licence status will be based on coach licence fee paid and current, valid first aid, safeguarding and DBS within the last 3 years with the addition of active BWSW membership.
