1.Because of COVID-19, MBIA's Northern Regional Meeting has been rescheduled to October. MBIA would like to guage the opinion of our SE and SW members on their feelings on whether their July Regional Meetings should also be pushed later in the year or held Virtually.

2.With your membership renewal you received a copy of the 2020 Boat Michigan Annual Directory. We print 40,000 copies and this printed publication is distributed at three MBIA Boat Shows, three non-MBIA produced Boat Shows, boating events, at all Michigan Welcome Centers and at all Michigan State Harbors. As an MBIA member you receive a free listing in the product and services guide. This same product search is available on our website. Do you see value in this printed publication?

3.MBIA strives to bring you quality member programs to save you time and money. Our Card Connect credit card program has been slow to bring members into their programs. To find a common carrier, can you share with us which credit card service provider you are currently using?

We are happy with our current credit card provider and have no interest in changing.

5.We know workforce continues to be a challenge for our industry and we had two training programs ready to start in March until COVID-19 canceled them. Currently, we have 3 schools beginning programs in the fall. To help direct those who graduate to available positions can you please indicate if you are in a hiring position for marine technicians, and how many.
