City of West Sacramento Community Needs Assessment

The City of West Sacramento receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The funds must be used primarily to serve low- and moderate-income residents and neighborhoods. Every five years, the City seeks public comments on the needs of lower-income residents and develops a Consolidated Plan to guide the use of this vital funding source. The City’s CDBG funding is limited and it is crucial that we hear from residents, service providers and affordable housing providers as we determine funding priorities for fiscal years 2026-2030.

Survey responses will be accepted through April 10th,2026. All survey responses are anonymous.
